MINERAL SPRAY

Mineral Spray is a durable, lightweight coating that can offer combined thermal and acoustic properties in addition to fire protection. As this form of fire protection is applied in a spray it can be used around even complex shapes.

It is essential that any spray solution to fire protection of structural steel is applied to the correct thickness for the required fire resistance. We have the required experience to provide and apply the correct solution for your fire protection requirements.

THERMAL INSULATION

Thermal insulation provides a means to maintain a gradient of temperature, by providing a region of insulation in which heat flow is reduced or thermal radiation is reflected rather than absorbed. This insulating layer can prolong the load bearing capabilities of steel in a fire. They do not rely on any form of chemical reaction, foaming or expansion to offer the fire protection properties.
