Structural steel work can be coated quickly and efficiently with a cementitious fire spray for up to 240 minutes of fire protection.

Cementitious fire sprays are used in commercial and industrial applications and are able to withstand impact and abrasion. Due to their nature they are easy to adapt to accept design changes without incurring major cost and time delays.

They often work out to be the cheapest form of protection however due to the way they look after application are only really suitable for hidden steel members. They have the advantages of assisting thermal and acoustic insulation and are also easy to apply to complex shapes.
